Blast Motion Files Lawsuit Against Diamond Kinetics and PPG Technologies for Infringing Five Blast Motion Patents

(Carlsbad, Calif., June 6th, 2017) Blast Motion, a leader in motion capture and analysis technology, announced today that it has asserted patent infringement claims against Diamond Kinetics and PPG Technologies in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. The Blast Motion complaint asserts that Diamond Kinetics and/or PPG Technologies products and technology infringe five Blast Motion patents relating to Blast Motion’s natural motion capture solutions and Smart Video Capture™ technologies. The complaint seeks damages as well as injunctive relief to stop the further sale of the infringing Diamond Kinetics and PPG Technologies products and systems.

The complaint asserts that the technology in the Diamond Kinetics and PPG products infringes one or more claims of five Blast Motion patents: United States Patent Numbers 8,905,855; 8,903,521; 9,401,178; 9,076,041; and 9,039,527.
