Blast Baseball Team Admin App

Blast Baseball Team Admin App is used to prepare to capture off-line swing and upload those swings to the cloud after. The Admin App can manage sensors, see which sensors are assigned to players, easily identify active and non-active sensors, and see sensor battery life.

Off-line mode allows you to collect swings on players without the mobile device around. Simply set up the sensors for use (steps below), pass out sensors to players, and attach to their bat to hit. At the end of the workout, or day, upload all the swings at one time very easily in the Admin App.

How do you collect Metric

1.  Sensors need to be:

  • Adequately Charged
  • In their attachment
  • Labeled appropriately


2. Open the Blast Baseball Team Admin App.

3. Log in using the user name & password. (once you login the first time, credentials will be saved until you log out).

*** If Wi-Fi is unavailable on the field make sure to have logged into the Blast Baseball Team Admin where there is Wi-Fi availability.

4. After successful login, move the sensor around so they are shown in the Blast Baseball Team Admin app. Sensors will automatically upload any actions they may have stored, then sync, and then will be ready for distribution. The sensor tiles will be GREEN when they are ready to be distributed.


What information can be found in a sensor tile

  • When you tap on the sensor title it open up the sensor details.  The Sensor detail consist of the following:
    • Assigned to
    • Nickname
    • Last Bat Used
    • Serial
    • MAC Address
    • Firmware
    • Signal Strength

  • The shows the battery level icon and a check mark icon if connected.
  • Also the available option to Connect, Reset Sensor, and Clear and Reset Sensor.


How do you sort

1.  Tap on the Sort in the top right of the screen.

2.  Select on the Sort options :

  • Sort By Nickname
  • Sort By Assignee
  • Sort By Battery

  • Also can sort by Tapping on tabs in the top center: All Sensor, Active, and Completed.



How to do you search

1.  Tap on the magnify glass icon in the top right of the screen.

2. Type in search options.  Search by the following options:

  • Assigned to
  • Nickname
  • Serial number


Where is the Help & Tips

1.   Tap on the menu hamburg button in the top left.

2. The menu opens up to the options of Help & Tips button.

How to Add Sensor


  1. Tap on the menu hamburger button in the top left.
  2. Tap on Add Sensor.
  3. Register the Sensor by typing serial number or scanning serial number.
  4. Face the Blast logo towards the ground for two seconds, face the Blast Logo towards the sky for two seconds, and repeat until it is activated.


  • If you can’t register sensor, tap on Having Trouble link.


How do you reset sensor

1.   Tap on the connected sensor to open sensor details.

2.  Tap on Reset Sensor or Clear and Reset Sensor.



How to create a Sessions


  1. Tap on the menu hamburger button in the top left.
  2. Tap on Sessions.
  3. Fill in the fields of Session Title, Session Start, Session Stop, Session Type, Assigned Players, and Notes.
  4. Tap on Start Session.


How to Update Session


  1. Tap on the menu hamburger button in the top left.
  2. Tap on Sessions.
  3. Locate the Active Sessions.
  4. Tap on session title name and date/time.
  5. Update files.
  6. Tap on Update Session.




How to Assign Sensor to player


  1. Tap on a Sensor.
  2. Tap on the Connect button if not connected.
  3. Tap on Assigned to.
  4. Tap on the new player.
  5. Tap on assign.


Uploading Swings

The Admin App needs to have quality Wi-Fi or cellular connection for swing to go from the sensor, to the Admin App, and then from the Admin App up to the cloud where swings are stored can be accessed. The Admin App will do all the work, you just have to get it going. Last thing, you will need the appropriate login information.

How do you up load Off-Line Swings

  1. Where there is quality Wi-Fi or cellular connection, open the Blast Baseball Team Admin App.
  2. Login using the correct email and password (once you login the first time, credentials will be saved).
  3. Move sensors around so they can connect to the Admin App (tip: put all the sensors in a bag or container so they can all be moved at once).
  4. The sensors will process under the dashboard and you will be prompted when sensors are completed and ready for use or storage.
  • If all sensor do not pick up, Please move the sensor around again so they can connect.
  • Please shake sensor lightly to avoid false actions.

What  does the Admin App Dashboard upload colors mean

  • Green green around the circle – Sensor is fully processed and ready to be passed out or stored for the next day.
  • Blue WITH the progress ring – Sensor is uploading swings to the device.
  • Blue WITHOUT the progress ring – Sensor is in the queue and is ready and waiting to upload.
  • Gray – Sensor belongs to that affiliate/team but is not currently connected to the Admin App. The sensor will not connect if it is not charged, has been stationary for more than 1 minute, or out of bluetooth range.



What are sensor Errors

When the Admin App encounters an sensor errors you can tap on either the sensor tile to discover the issues or you can tap on the ‘errors’ tab where you will find details on the error the sensor encountered.

Red – Indicates the sensor has encountered an error.
Errors can also be see under the ‘errors’ tab found at the top.

  • If a sensor tile is red, the app has still uploaded the swings stored on the sensor. The sensor is ready to be distributed to a player or stored. You can tap on the sensor tile to see the error and try to reprocess that sensor. You can also wait for the next day to re-sync.


  • Yellow Triangle – Plane, Connection and Rotation scores are based on the level of play your player select in their account. Until your player sets their level of play, they will be scored on all Minor League level players.
