Blast Connect Golf – Owner Profile

 Getting Started

Congratulations on taking the first step to improving your game.  To get started head to the Blast Connect page: https://blastconnect.com for individual users.  If part of an Academy a specific URL is created that will be emailed to the users. There are multiple ways to register your account as individual, player, coach, and Owner/Academy.

Individual: Select on ‘Get Started’ link.  Register your account by typing in your First Name, Last Name, Email, Password, Confirm Password and agree to terms of service. Select continue to proceed. Select a subscription plan and enter your card information.  Select the subscribe button to blast connect to proceed. When completed you get a message that “your Blast Connect account has been successfully created! Thank you for subscribing. Please login to continue.”

Player, Coach: Contact the owner to add a new student to the academy. Once added to the academy the user will receive activation email for the Blast Connect. Select the link from the email to register your account by typing in your First Name, Last Name, Email, Password, Confirm Password and agree to terms of service. Select continue to proceed. Select a subscription plan and enter your card information.  Select the subscribe button to blast connect to proceed. When completed you get a message that “your Blast Connect account has been successfully created! Thank you for subscribing. Please login to continue.”

Owner/Academy: Contact our sales support to have an account setup.

  • Update your Profile. Providing your name and image will make communicating with your coaches a lot easier.
  • Check out your library where you can upload videos, images and other files. Menu > Analyze > Library
  • Test your skills on and see where you rank! Menu > Assess
  • Follow the progress of your friends and fellow competitors. __ found in the upper right corner.
  • Record a round of golf. Or two! The data you enter will began to give you an incredibly detailed look at your game.  Menu > Train

Dashboard

Dashboard:     The Dashboard is your timeline of activities. The Dashboard also provides links to navigate throughout the app.  The Dashboard consists of the following link options:   Homescreen Buttons:

  • Dashboard – Timeline of activities where admin users can view activities of their academy.
  • Analysis – Access to the library (and video analysis tool) as well as your Blast Metrics.
    • Metrics – Synced metrics collected from the Blast Cloud
    • Video Analysis – Link to Video Analyzer
    • Media Library – Stored videos and pictures.
  • Training
    • Training Center – Collection of Blast Motion Training Videos
    • Workouts/Practices – A list of workout with descriptions and practices. Ability to add new workouts and practices.
  • Assessments – Create and customize skills assessments.
  • Rounds – Add and track rounds of where you are playing.

    Dashboard is your activity home page on the Blast Connect.  Top Key Metrics appears at the top of the page.  Practices Completed, Workout Completed, and Rounds Played This Year are located on the top line of the metrics in the Dashboard.  

Messages: How to send

 

  1. Tap on Messages icon in the top right of Blast Connect.
  2. Tap the Plus sign icon for new message.
  3. Fill out fields of To, Subject, and Messages.
  4. Once field are filled out, tap Send button.

 

Calendar: How to add event

 

  1. Tap on Calendar icon in the top right of Blast Connect.
  2. Tap the Plus sign icon for new event.
  3. Fill out fields of Even Type, Location, Date, Times, Repeat, Assign Rosters and Assign Members.
  4. Once field are filled out, tap on Add Event.

 

Members: How to bulk upload (On Screen)

 

  1. Tap on the Members icon on the top right.
  2. Tap on the plus sign and select on “Invite Members.”
  3. Tap on the Bulk Upload tab.
  4. Tap on Let’s Go button.
  5. Find the forms for player, Coaches or Owners that you want to invite.
  6. Fill out form fields:
    1. Student:First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Coach, Blast Connect, AddOns, Who’s Paying, Password, Sensor Name, Sensor Serial. Sensor Location, Equipment Name, Equipment Length, and Equipment Weight.
    2. Coach:First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Blast Connect, AddOns, Who’s Paying, Password, Sensor Name, Sensor Serial Number, Sensor Location, Equipment Name, Equipment Length, and Equipment Weight.
    3. Owners:First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Blast Connect, AddOns, Who’s Paying, Password, Sensor Name, Sensor Serial Number, Sensor Location, Equipment Name, Equipment Length, and Equipment Weight.

 

  • Global Settings:Default setting change for all players for Who’s Paying and Password.

 

  • Default Student Settings: Default setting change for all players for Coach, Blast Connect, AddOns, Who’s Paying, Password, Equipment Name, Equipment Length, and Equipment Weight.

 

 

Members: How to bulk upload (Spreadsheet)

 

  1. Tap on the Members icon on the top right.
  2. Tap on the plus sign and select on “Invite Members.”
  3. Tap on the Bulk Upload tab.
  4. Download the spreadsheet (Tap on Download Spreadsheet button) and fill out your team’s information.
  5. Upload the complete spreadsheet (Tap on Choose File button), customize account details, and invite your members.

 

Setting: Customize Dashboard

 

  1. Tap on the gear icon (left of plus sign).
  2. Tap and hold the up/down arrows to drag and drop feature options.
  3. Swipe the dot options to the left to turn features off. Reverse to turn back on.
  4. When changes are complete, tap done button to finish.

 

How to Search

 

  1. Tap on the magnify glass icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Type in search item and tap return on keyboard to get results.

 

How to Add Roster

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Roster.
  3. From the member’s screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  4. Scroll down and tap on Add Roster.
  5. Type Roster Name, Coach and select members.
  6. Tap on Add Roster.

 

How to Manage Rosters

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Roster.
  3. Tap on option (Three dots) across from the name of the roster.
  4. Scroll down to Edit Roster.
  5. Update Roster Name, Coach, and select members.
  6. Tap on Save Roster.

 

How to delete Roster

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Roster.
  3. Tap on option (Three dots) across from the name of the roster.
  4. Scroll down to Delete Roster.

 

How to Add Files

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on File.
  3. From the Library, tap on the blue plus sign (Add to Your Library).
  4. Drag and Drop your files or Select a File From Your Device.

 

How to Create Workout

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Workout.
  3. Fill in the Workout Name, Workout Type, Workout Description, and Exercises.
  4. Tap Add Group to add additional Exercises.
  5. Optional: Tap on Schedule and Assign or Tap on Assign Without Scheduling.
  6. Optional: Make Workout Available to – Select Coaches, tap on box that apply (All Coaches, All Students, and Your Students).
  7. Tap on Save.

 

How to add Practice

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Practice.
  3. Fill in the Practice Name, Practice Type, Practice Description, and Drills.
  4. Tap Add Group to add additional Drills.
  5. Optional: Tap on Schedule and Assign or Tap on Assign Without Scheduling.
  6. Optional: Make Practice Available to – Select Coaches, tap on box that apply (All Coaches, All Students, and Your Students).
  7. Tap on Save.

 

How to add Assessment

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the blue plus sign.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Assessment.
  3. Fill in the New Assessment fields (About) of Title, Description, and Category/Tab Title.
  4. Optional: Tap on the Manage Categories hyperlink
  5. Optional: Swipe button to right to show Leaderboard to Students. Swipe to Left to turn off.
  6. Fill in the New Assessment fields (Details) by tap on Add File link to add file. Under instructions describe how to complete this assessment in the open field.
  7. Fill in the New Assessment fields (Scoring) of Unit of Measure, Value Decimal Places, Score Outcome, and Limits.
  8. Tap Save to complete.

 

How to view Academy Activity Feed

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the Recent Activity tab.

 

Add a Round

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, scroll down to Rounds.
  2. Tap on Start a Round.
  3. Fill in Fields in Play a Round of Club and Date.
  4. Swipe button to right for Tournament. Swipe to Left to turn off.
  5. Optional: Tap on Download a printable scorecard.
  6. Tap on Start Round.
  7. For each hole file in the fields of Club, Distance to Pin Before Shot, Recovery, Result, and Strokes Gained.
  8. Tap Save Shot.

 

View Played Rounds

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, scroll down to Rounds.
  2. Tap on Start a Round.
  3. Scroll down to Played Rounds.
  4. Tap on the date of the round.

 

View Golf Stats from Round

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, scroll down to Rounds.
  2. Tap on Start a Round.
  3. Tap on Golf Stats tab.

 


Profile Navigation Drawer

My profile shows a list of user options for the user.  The profile shows the name and profile picture.  The name shows as a hyperlink with the following options:

  • My Profile
  • My Account Settings
  • Edit Academy
  • Form Builder
  • Logout

 

Edit Academy   The editing of the academy gives the owner the options to update how the Blast connect page is used. The edit page is broken into three tabs: Academy, Members and Static Pages.

  • Academy editing starts with general information from Academy Name, Academy Logo, Website, Phone, Address, City, Province/State, Country, Postal/Zip Code, Facebook, Twitter, and Map Coordinates.
    • Wavier option requires all of your members to accept the below waiver before they can access your site. Tap on the box to turn on or off. If turned on you can write in the ‘Waiver text’ to communicate your message.
    • Academy Customization provides personal touches to your page.
      • Golf Channel Newsfeed on Dashboard can be turned on or off.
      • Custom newsfeeds will also show on the Dashboard, as you type in the link you would like displayed.
      • Library collections appear in the sidebar of the library for every user in your Academy. They filter by tag, and are great for giving your students/coaches quick access to commonly used groups of files.
      • Menu Colors and aesthetic highlights are used on the menu. Leave blank to restore to default.
      • Accent Colors and aesthetic highlights are used on the menu. Leave blank to restore to default.
      • The default setting on Communicate Verb is ‘Communicate.’ You can change it here. Leave blank for ‘Communicate’.
      • Dash Board Welcome copy is the welcome model window on the Dashboard. HTML allowed for formatting.
      • Advanced settings and Configuration are for advanced configuration, and could potentially de-stabilize the site.
      • At the bottom right of all the tabs is the red ‘Edit Academy Name’ box. Selecting on this box will update all changes made.

How to Edit Academy

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on Edit Academy.

  Academy Members

  • Members provides different list of members from Students, Parents, Coaches, and Owners. All groups include the user First Name, Last Name, Email, and Status. The member information has a hyperlink that links to their profile. Tapping on the user status will change it from active to deactivate. For the student profiles, ‘Parents’ and ‘Coaches’ boxes provide links to corresponding information.

    My Skills

  • By default, a menu item titled “Skills” will appear in the main navigation. The default title for skills can be override. You can also add your own description, which will appear above your Skills Assessments. To restore to your organizational defaults, save with the Title and Description blank. Default skill descriptions can also be changed at the organization level. To do this speak with an Administrator.

  My Profile When selecting on the My Profile, the profile page opens up. The top of the page shows your profile picture with the percentage of your profile complete. To the right of the profile, your name, location, height, weight and biography will be visible. Under the profile information a link to messages, and Facebook will appear by the corresponding icons.  

How to update Profile

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Update the fields accounts fields.
  4. Tap on Save to update.

  When selecting on the My Profile, the profile page opens up. The top of the page shows your profile picture with the percentage of your profile complete. To the right of the profile, your name, location, height, weight and biography will be visible. Under the profile information a link to messages and  Facebook will appear by the corresponding icons. To the right it will show your activities on Blast Connect:

  • Practices Completed
  • Workouts Completed
  • Rounds Played 2016
  • Strokes Gained Total
  • Strokes Gained Putting
  • Scoring Average

FullSizeRender 2 The middle of the page starts with the user’s Goals. Goal information can be added with the red “Edit your profile” box on the top right of the page. The “Edit my profile” box provides the three-tab option of Overview, Subscription, and Setting.

  • Overview provides option to write on your timeline. You and your academy members’ will also be visible. The list shows the most current activities, which you can scroll through by tapping on the next or previous bottoms. You can click on the links of the user. If you like any of those posts you can select the High Five options.
  • Subscription shows your subscription information. ‘Your subscription’ will provide what kind of subscriptions your credit card will be charged automatically. If there are any free trail periods the user will automatically on the trail end. The ‘Period’ is the time your subscription is valid until. If you would like to change or update any information for your subscription. To Cancel subscription select on ‘cancel subscription’ button and select on ‘Update my profile’ button to complete process.

  The Blast Connect now allows academy owners to add a credit card with which they can pay for new students in their academy. The option allows owners to collect single payments for portal services and cover the cost of the portal themselves. The credit card put on file will only be visible to the original owner who puts it there.

How to cancel Subscriptions

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Tap on Subscriptions tab.
  4. Tap on Cancel Subscriptions.

 

How to update credit card info

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Tap on Cards On File.
  4. Tap on Edit.
  5. Update the credit card.
  6. Tap on Update Card.

 

How to add the Add-on – done

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Tap on Subscriptions.
  4. Tap on Buy now.

 

How to delete credit card.

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Tap on Cards On File.
  4. Tap on Remove.

  Settings gives the option to have the welcome dashboard message on or off by tap on the box. Updating the passwords by entering the current password, new password, and re-entering the new password is also possible from Settings. At the bottom right of all the tabs is the “Update my profile” box. Selecting this box will update all changes made.

How to update Password

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Tap on Settings tab.
  4. Type in the new password in the New Password field and the Re-Enter New Password.
  5. Tap Save to update.

 

How to Unlink a sensor

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on My Account Settings.
  3. Tap on Settings tab.
  4. Tap on the Unlink button.

 

  • Unlinking your Blast Motion Account will remove all your saved metrics. This action cannot be undone; however, you can reconnect at any time.

  Calendar  The calendar shows the current and past activities in a month, week, and day view. The calendar can also be filtered and viewed by members. The activities of the calendar:

  • Lesson
  • Meeting
  • Practice (General)
  • Practice Plan
  • Rounds
  • Skills
  • Tournament
  • Treatment
  • Workout

Each Calendar event is a hyperlink that connects to the event to provide additional information and also is color coordinated.   When creating a new event, tap on the date of the event or select on the plus sign in the circle. Afterwards a pop up screen will show on screen with additional event options to setup. Start setting up the event with selecting the event type in the drop down menu. After selecting the type of event the dates and time can be added and if the event repeats and it frequency. At the bottom of the setup of the event you can invite people by Assigned Rosters or Assigned members. To complete the setup of the event just tap on the “Add Event” button at the bottom to complete the process and the event will show on the calendar on the date selected.   Connections   Connections are a list of people you are connected to from your academy. They will be able to message you, see your stats, library and progress. The middle of the page shows the list of connections called “Students.” The name of the user will show the joined dates and hyper-links to users profile, twitter, and messaging for the Blast Connect. You can add followers who are part of the academy and want to follow your progress. Tap on the list of members of your academy and find the user you want to add. Then select the red “Add Follower” box to add the user and a message will show on the top that the user has been added to your followers list.     Rosters show the list of the roster in your academy, click on the plus sign. You will be able to name the roster, give the roster a coach if you would like, and then add each player that you want to the roster. (If you add a coach for the roster, only his/her students will be allowed to that roster) From the three-dot menu on the top right each roster you will have the option to edit the roster, delete the roster and also change the viewing format. Players can be added to more than one roster. Rosters can be selected when players can be:

  • Scheduling on the calendar
  • Assigning practices and workouts
  • Sending direct messages
  • Sharing videos

These process making managing teams much simpler and more efficient.   Form Builder   Form Builder is the home for any form in the system. The page includes the list of names of the communication and descriptions.  Each communication has a box to select on to ‘see responses’ and ‘answers’.  The form builder also has a pencil icon to edit and a garbage can icon to delete the communication. To add a new form select on the ‘Create Form’ box.

  • The New Customer Form page gives the option for a Form Name, Short Name, Description, Questions and Menu Placement.
  • The Add Question box gives a series of question to be answered from Type, Question, Instructions, Possible Answers, and Required. Once completed tap on the ‘Add question’ that will be placed into the form.
  • The form has additional form settings. It controls who can answer the form, who can see the responses, require forms, and whether it shows the form on the timeline.

    Logout   Tapping on the logout removes the user out of the app. To return to the app use the username and password.  

How to Log out

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on the profile icon on the top right of the screen.
  2. Scroll down and select on Log out.

Analyze

Library

  • The library stores your videos, photos, and documents. To add a file, drag a file onto this page or tap on the ‘Add to your library’ box. A file box will show on the screen.
    • Select File (500MB maximum on file) and download box will show when the upload is completed.
    • Add a file name to the file or keep the default.
    • Description of the file.
    • Add tags to find file easier.
    • Select the connection you want to have the file or share with everyone by selecting on the box.
    • When completed select on ‘Add file details’.
  • To find video use the Filter. Filter from tags, file type, sharing and date range. When finished filtering the library, tap on ‘Filter Library’ box.
  • Find the file you want to open by placing the curser over the magnify glass icon on the file or tapping on the file. The Chemical bottle icon opens up the Analyze, which provide the editing options of the video. (Google Chrome only.)
  • Once the file is open, the name of the file is visible on top and the date of the file add is visible on the bottom. On the right bottom of file it shows the icons:
    • Download – Download file to device.
    • Analyze – Edits to the file.
    • Fullscreen – View the file in Fullscreen
    • Edit – Change File name, Descripts, Tag, and Shares.
    • Delete – Deleting of file.

Comments can be added at the bottom of the picture by typing a message in the box and tapping on ‘Leave comment’ box.   Blast Videos

  • The uploading of videos from the Golf is a simple process. Within the Golf app, the user uploads their desired videos to his Blast Connect library from within the action by tapping on the share button.
    • Videos must be uploaded one at a time.
    • The option to upload the video is only available if.
      • Blast Connect credentials have been successfully entered within the app.
      • The video wasn’t already uploaded
    • If upload is successful on Android a green icon will display and a red icon when it failed. On iOS (Apple) no icon are available at this time.

 

  • Golf videos are available to the user within the Blast Connect library for tagging, review, video analysis, etc. (Analyze > Library > Select Video)
  • One-Click access to the metrics associated with the actions in the video.

 

How to Analyze a video

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Video Analysis to select.
  3. Use Analyze tool to edit the video.

 

How to record

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Video Analysis to select.
  3. Tap on red record button to start.
  4. Tap on red record button to stop.

 

How to compare videos

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Video Analysis to select.
  3. Tap on Compare.
  4. Tap on 2nd
  5. Tap Play to play both videos.

 

How to view video

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Media Library to select.
  3. Place curser over video and tap on view.

 

How to add video

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Media Library to select.
  3. Tap on the blue plus sign.
  4. Drag and Drop your files or Select a File From Your Device.

 

How to delete video

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Media Library to select.
  3. Place curser over video and tap on view.
  4. Tap on the Garbage icon.

 

How to share video

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Media Library to select.
  3. Place curser over video and tap on view.
  4. Tap on Edit.
  5. Tap on the Share File to select to select Academy, Rosters, Owner, Coach or player.
  6. Tap Save Details.

 

How to download video

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Media Library to select.
  3. Place curser over video and tap on view.
  4. Tap on the Cloud icon to download.

         Statistics

  • Provides the statistics from Golf Stats, Practice Stats, and Workout Stats.
    • Golf Stats gives a recap of your golf game over the last month and all time stats. The Golf Stats also gives the change amount for last month and overall states. Shows a stat graph to show your average vs. a PGA average. The stats summary topic metrics are: Recap, Off the Tee, Approaching the Green, Around the green, Putting, Scoring, and Gapping. Each stat name has a circle with an I in the middle. This icon can be highlighted and provide the summary of details.
    • Practice Stats shows the completed activities of the practice. Practice gives a summary of Balls Hit, Longest Shot, Practices Completed, and Practices Assigned. A graft view shows the users shots from Driving, Ball Striking, Iron Play, Short Game, Bunker, Putting, and Mental. The practice history categories are broken into Balls, Time, Club, Distance, Comments, and Score.
    • Workout Stats show the completed activities of the workout. Workout gives a summary of Reps, Sets, Workouts Completed, and Workouts Assigned. A graph view shows the user workout actives from Mobility, Movement, Speed, Stability, and Strength. The workout history categories are broken into Equipment, Set, Reps, Weight, Temp, Rest, and Comments.

Rounds

  • Shows the overview of the enter Rounds information from Date, Club, Course, Tee, Par, and Score. Each event has a garbage can icon to delete the event. The date line has a hyperlink link to the round summary where you can edit previous enter information.

     Blast Metrics

  • View your Blast Metrics by connecting your Blast Golf to Blast Connect. If your not connect select on the ‘Let’s get started’ hyperlink at the top of the page. When you’re connected you can view all of your strokes. Blast Connect can filter your metrics by Students, Swing Type, Equipment, and Time Frame; then tap ‘filter’ to get metrics.
  • The middle of the page shows the swing averages for all the metrics. Below the swing average shows all the metrics and number of action from the metrics. The filtering option can reset the filter and refresh metrics by taping on option icon next to the filter.
  • Below the swing averages, the individual swings with all the metrics are visible. If a video is available with the metrics the thumbnail will show, but if not, a default picture will show.
  • For more information click on “Learn About These Metrics”. From that pop up page, you will have access to many other training center videos.

 

How to view Metrics

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.

 

How to view Videos only

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.
  3. Tap on the Videos Only box.
  4. Tap on Go to complete filter.

 

How to filter Metrics

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.
  3. Tap on the Filter options of All Sessions, All Equipment, and All Metrics/Averages.
  4. Tap on Go to complete filter.

 

How to Learn Metrics

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.
  3. Tap on the circle with “I” in the middle that is next to options.
  4. Tap on Metric.

 

How to Filter Swing Quality

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.
  3. Tap on Swing Quality sort from Worst to Best and Best to Worst.

 

How to filter Players

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.
  3. Tap on tap on player.

 

How to filter session types

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to filter options.
  3. (For Golf) Select on Putts or Full Swing. Tap on the arrow to the right to switch.
  4. Tap on arrow to the right of Session Type to narrow the session types. Tap on selected option.
  5. Tap on arrow to the right of Sessions to narrow down the list of sessions. Tap on selected option.
  6. Tap Go to process.

 

  • Session Notes are only displayed (if available) once session(s) are selected and displayed.

 

How to filter Team Report for Multi-Player Sessions

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to filter options.
  3. Tap on arrow to the right of Session Type to narrow the session types. Tap on selected option.
  4. Tap on arrow to the right of Multi-Player Sessions (by name) to the sessions summary for all players in the session.
  5. Tap Go to process.

 

How to Delete Sessions

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Click the overflow menu.
  3. Scroll down to Delete Session (s).
  4. Select on one or more sessions to delete.
  5. Select on: Delete sessions and all actions in this sessionor Delete session only (do not delete actions).
  6. Tap Delete to complete process.

 

  • If you create the session, you can click Delete Session(s). If you did not create the session, you do not have permission to delete it. You can still delete actions within the session if you are the player.

        BodiTrak

  • View BodiTrak metrics by tapping on the Analyze > Blast Metrics > tap on BodiTrak tab. The metrics will show from newest to olds and video or silhouette will show to the right of the metrics. The metrics provided by BodiTrak:
    • Stance Width
    • Peak Lateral Cop Velocity
    • Max DVF

 

How to view BodiTrak metrics

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Analysis.
  2. Scroll down to Metrics to select.
  3. Tap on BodiTrak.

  Team Report

  • This feature can be found in the Blast Metrics (Analyze > Blast Metrics) on the right side of the screen.  The team reports will show all the students that are assigned to the coach and the students stats for the last two weeks. The metrics will show in table view that is sortable and a search option.  The team report gives an option to print the metrics. The alternative method to view team metrics is in connections / rosters where you can grab student metrics from just the individual roster. Giving another way to view player metric by different grouping.

      Workouts & Practices Owners, coaches and players can create and edit workouts by selecting TRAIN from the menu bar, then “Workouts & Practices” then click the “+” icon and choose to create either a Workout or Practice. Both the Workouts and Practices work the same way. Once you have chosen between the two, you must complete the details in the Workout or Practice like the title and optional media attachment. When you get to the Exercise section in Workouts or Drills section in Practices, you can click on the + to create new exercises and drills or add existing exercises or drills. Once Workouts or Practices are created, coaches and owners can schedule and assign them to any of their students or rosters. Students can only assign workouts and practices to themselves to complete.    

How to add workouts

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Training.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Workout.
  3. Fill in the Workout Name, Workout Type, Workout Description, and Exercises.
  4. Tap Add Group to add additional Exercises.
  5. Optional: Tap on Schedule and Assign or Tap on Assign Without Scheduling.
  6. Optional: Make Workout Available to – Select Coaches, tap on box that apply (All Coaches, All Students, and Your Students).
  7. Tap on Save.

 

            How to add practices

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, place curser on Training.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Practice.
  3. Fill in the Practice Name, Practice Type, Practice Description, and Drills.
  4. Tap Add Group to add additional Drills.

Assessments

Assessments are skills challenges created by the owner and coaches of the academy. To manage and create new assessments, you can do so by clicking on “Advanced Options -> Manage Assessments”. In this page, owners have the ability to customize and create whatever assessments appropriate.     There are multiple ways to view the results of your assessments. To view the results of a single assessment, owners can do so by clicking on “View Results”. Owners can also click on “Advanced Options -> Team Report” and filter out the desired data.  

How to create assessments

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on Assessment.
  2. Tap on Manage Assessments.
  3. Tap on Plus sign.
  4. Fill in the New Assessment fields (About) of Title, Description, and Category/Tab Title.
  5. Optional: Tap on the Manage Categories hyperlink
  6. Optional: Swipe button to right to show Leaderboard to Students. Swipe to Left to turn off.
  7. Fill in the New Assessment fields (Details) by tap on Add File link to add file. Under instructions describe how to complete this assessment in the open field.
  8. Fill in the New Assessment fields (Scoring) of Unit of Measure, Value Decimal Places, Score Outcome, and Limits.
  9. Tap Save to complete.

 

How to manage assessment categories

 

  1. From the Dashboard screen, tap on Assessment.
  2. Tap on Manage Assessments.
  3. Tap on manage categories link.
  4. Categories Options: Edit (Pencil Icon), Delete (Garbage Can), or Add (Plus Sign).
  5. Tap on Done after changes.

  3. Fill out customize assessments form fields of Page Title and Description.

Play

Rounds

  • Rounds are used to gather information on the course that you play to get the most accurate information about the course you have played. Start by answering the following question: Where are you playing? The system stores a list of golf courses all over North America. Start by tapping on the Club drop down. Type in three or more characters of the club. Select on the name of club you played. If your club isn’t showing please contact support so we can add your course. Select the Tee and Date that match up with your round played. Select yes or no by tapping on the box for Tournament. To continue select on the ‘Start Round’ box.
  • The club page gives you an opportunity to mark all of your shots. The system has captures the par information for each hole and the distance to the pin. The top of the page shows the name of the club and below it shows the Hole, Par, and Distance. The categories to capture info are: Shot, Club, Distance to Pin before shot, Recovery, Results, and strokes Gained.Screenshot 2016-08-09 12.31.00
    • Shots – capture each shot taken.
    • Clubs – the drop down give you option to select your clubs from: Driver, Woods, Irons, Hybrids, Wedge, and Putter.

    • Distance to Pin before shot – show the distance to pin. You can type in the shoot distance in yards or feet.
    • Recovery – whether it was a recovery shot
    • Results – show the different results of each shot from: Fairway, Rough, Bunker, Penalty Shot, Green, and Holed.

     

    • To help complete the process of filling out the form. Select on the show Diagram hyperlink for ‘How Distance To Pin Works’. This diagram helps show distance for each shot.

  • Enter all of your shot information to have the most accurate score card in the system. Select on the ‘Save Shot’ box. If you make a mistake in entering a shot you can select on Hole hyperlink. Select on the garbage can icon to delete the shot. At the bottom of the page you can review the round summary. When all shots are added into the system, the page will take you back to the beginning of rounds.
