You’ve been Training at Home for months, now it’s time to test your skills in a fun hitting competition. Compete against your peers, challenge your friends, and see if you have what it takes to make it to the top of the leaderboard. There’s no cost to participate – you just need a Blast Swing Analyzer (sensor) and the drive to be #1.
Competition participants that complete the minimum number of swings have a chance to get their name on the leaderboard or win one of the following prizes:
Prizes will be awarded through a random drawing at the end of the competition.
The competition begins on July 10th and runs through July 18th. We’ll have two rounds where we will measure Bat Speed (July 10-13) and On Plane Efficiency (July 14-18). You’ll need to take at least 100 swings per round and we’ll track the averages to see who makes it to the top of our leaderboards.
Any baseball or softball player from 10U to College in the United States. We have 6 competition skill levels in each sport to give players the opportunity to compete with their peers. Bring your A game, compete, and have fun!
There is no entry fee / no cost for players to compete in the hitting competition. Anyone that completes the required swings will have an opportunity to win a prize from Blast or Rawlings.
You just need a Blast swing analyzer (sensor) and app, bat, ball, and tee. We’ll provide participants with access to Blast Connect and our Premium Services for the duration of the competition so everyone can compete on an even “virtual” playing field.
No problem! We have a great Training at Home program that allows you to purchase a Blast sensor for just $89.95. This price is available until September 30th, 2020.
STARTING JULY 10th – HOW TO CAPTURE & TAG SWINGS: If you’re actively training or working with a coach during the competition timeframe, there are a few simple steps (below) that you can take to add swing context to your swings. This will help us filter the competition swings and improve your leaderboard averages.
Next, start swinging! Take at least 100 swings between July 10-13 (bat speed avg.) and 100 swings between July 14-18 (on plane efficiency avg.) to see if you can make it to the top of the leaderboard and have a chance to win prizes in our random drawings for competition participants. Good luck!
