Coach Mode is an evaluation tool that lets a golf coach review player and team performance history with statistics and graphs — all from a single sensor shared across multiple players.
How Coach Mode Works
With the Blast Golf app and Blast Connect (or Blast Connect Mobile), a coach can manage multiple players using one sensor. By building a player profile, the coach can share the sensor with players and collect swing metrics that are shared with the player while remaining available to the coach.
Both players and coaches get access to Blast Connect. For coaches, Blast Connect provides analytic tools with video markup and metric overlay, recorded feedback, and the ability to compare two synced swings side by side. It also includes customized practice and workout creation to drive team engagement, plus scheduling and roster management so coaches can view and filter a team’s swing information for in-depth analysis.
How to Set Up Coach Mode
To use Coach Mode, coaches and players need to:
- Create a Blast App account.
- Create a Blast Connect account.
- Connect the Blast App account to the Blast Connect account.
Coaches can sign up at blastconnect.com/academy/register/Golf.
