Blast Motion Partners with Phenom Baseball Academy to Deliver Advanced Training Solution
Phenom Baseball combines the Blast Baseball 360 sensor, mobile app, and Blast Connect software services to deliver a highly integrated video and real-time metrics powered training solution.
(Carlsbad, Calif., – October 6, 2016) – Blast Motion, an industry innovator focused on 360-degree athletic improvement through software services and advanced sensor-based motion capture, today announced a multi-year partnership with Phenom Baseball. The Blast Baseball 360 sensor, mobile app, and Blast Connect software services have been integrated into the Phenom Baseball Academy training program and are in the process of being rolled out to Phenom Baseball athletes across the country. Blast Connect provides a highly integrated communications framework that will be used for scheduling, assigning drills, and tracking an athletes progress over time. The solution also enables remote coaching, allowing powerful training feedback to be delivered online through the system’s integrated video analysis, voiceover, and markup features. When combined with the Blast Baseball 360 sensor and mobile app, an athletes swing metrics are automatically uploaded to Blast Connect, allowing coaches to provide real-time training feedback and the ability to post additional training insights to an athlete’s Blast Connect activity feed.
