How Do You Get Your First Metric in Blast Golf?

Share:

Blast Golf captures your first metric as soon as you make contact with a golf ball while the sensor is connected and aligned on your club. The app offers three ways to capture that first swing: Online, Offline, and Video mode.

Contact with the golf ball must be made to register a metric — practice swings without contact will not generate a reading.

Online Mode (iOS & Android)

  1. Make sure the sensor is connected to Blast Golf (Menu > Sensor > tap Sensor if not).
  2. Make sure the sensor is in the attachment on the club and properly aligned.
  3. From the Home Screen (iOS) or Dashboard (Android), tap Just Putt or Just Swing to view live metrics.
  4. Take your first swing, making contact with the ball.
  5. View your metrics once contact is made.

Offline Mode (iOS & Android)

  1. Connect to Blast Golf to check the battery level (Menu > Sensor); charge if below 20%.
  2. Confirm the sensor is connected to the correct club (Menu > My Clubs > tap Club).
  3. Close the app once battery and club are verified.
  4. Take your first swing, making contact with the ball.
  5. Reconnect the sensor to the app afterward. Tap the notification (green circle) for Offline Swings Ready.
  6. Tap Next, then Download Swings.
  7. View your metrics in My Activity (iOS) or the Dashboard (Android).

Video Mode (iOS & Android)

  1. Make sure the sensor is connected and in the attachment on the club.
  2. From the Home Screen/Dashboard, tap the camera icon for Smart Video Capture.
  3. Tap the circle record button, then take your swing (making contact with the ball).
  4. Tap the red record button to stop. Multiple swings can be recorded in one video without stopping between them.
  5. View videos and metrics in the Video Library.

FAQ

Why didn’t I get a metric after my swing?
You must make contact with the golf ball — practice or air swings won’t register a metric in standard Blast Golf modes.

What’s the difference between Online and Offline mode?
Online mode shows metrics live as you swing; Offline mode stores swings on the sensor and uploads them to the app once you reconnect.

Can I record video and capture metrics at the same time?
Yes — Video mode captures metrics alongside a synced video clip of each swing.
