What Swing Modes Does Blast Golf Support?

Share:

Blast Golf supports four swing modes — Putting, Full Swing, Short Game, and Bunker — with Short Game and Bunker requiring a Gen 3 sensor.

Supported Modes

  • Putting — same putting support as the original Blast Golf app.
  • Full Swing — same full-swing support as before, with improved accuracy.
  • Short Game — covers any shot of 75 yards or less.
  • Bunker — covers any shot from a bunker involving club-to-sand impact.

Short Game and Bunker modes require a Gen 3 sensor.

How to Tell If You Have a Gen 3 Sensor

Check your sensor’s serial number: Gen 3 sensors have a 12-digit serial number where the second digit on the top row is 5 or greater. You’ll find the serial number on the back of the swing analyzer or in the Blast Motion app under My Sensor.

FAQ

Do I need a special sensor for Short Game or Bunker mode?
Yes, both require a Gen 3 sensor.

How do I check which sensor generation I have?
Look at the 12-digit serial number on the back of your sensor or under My Sensor in the app — if the second digit on the top row is 5 or higher, it’s Gen 3.
