What Is Coach Mode and How Do I Use It?

Share:

Coach Mode is a Blast Baseball evaluation tool that lets a coach manage multiple players’ performance history — statistics, graphs, and swing metrics — using a single sensor and the Blast Connect platform.

How Coach Mode Works

With the Blast Baseball app and Blast Connect (or Blast Connect Mobile), a coach can manage multiple players with one sensor. By selecting a player’s built profile, the coach shares the sensor with that player; after swings are collected, that data is shared with the player and remains available to the coach.

Both players and coaches get access to Blast Connect. For coaches, Blast Connect adds analytic tools like video markup with metric overlay, recorded voice feedback, and side-by-side comparison of two synced swings, plus customized practice and workout creation to drive team engagement. Coaches can also schedule teams, manage rosters, and view/filter team swing data for in-depth analysis.

How to Set Up Coach Mode

  1. Create a Blast App account.
  2. Create a Blast Connect account.
  3. Connect your Blast App account to your Blast Connect account.
