How to Create a Blast Softball Account (iOS & Android)

Share:

Setting up a Blast Softball account involves creating your profile, registering your sensor, and adding your bat. Here’s the full process for both iOS and Android.

Create a New Account on iOS

  1. Open the Blast Softball app and tap Create New Account.
  2. Select I’m a Player or I’m a Coach. (The Personal Swing Trainer sensor only supports Player/Parent/Athlete accounts. Coach or Academy Owner accounts can add players, but each player requires an active Blast Connect subscription. Coach Mode is iOS-only.)
  3. Select your level of play — Youth, Middle School, High School JV, High School Varsity, College (All Divisions), Minor League, Professional, or Other. This customizes your performance goals.
  4. Fill in your Full Name, Email, Confirm Email, and Password (8+ characters, with letters and a number), then tap Create Account.
  5. On the welcome screen, complete Basic Details, Register Sensor, and Add Bat — or tap Skip in the top right to finish later.
  6. To register your sensor, scan the serial bar on the back of the sensor or type in the Serial (Top & Bottom) number, then face the Blast logo toward the ground for 2 seconds and toward the sky for 2 seconds, repeating until a Sensor Connected message appears.
  7. To add your bat, fill in Brand, Model, Nickname, Length, and Weight, then tap Add New Bat. A short video shows how to attach your sensor to your bat.

Create a New Account on Android

  1. Open the Blast Softball app and tap Create a new account.
  2. Select I’m a Player, Parent or Athlete or I’m a Coach or Academy Owner. (Same Personal Swing Trainer and Coach Mode restrictions apply as on iOS.)
  3. Select your level of play — Amateur, Youth, Middle School, High School JV, High School Varsity, or College.
  4. Fill in your Full Name, Nickname, Country, Birth Date, Email, Confirm Email, and Password, then tap Create Account. Passwords must be at least 8 characters with letters and a number.
  5. On the welcome screen, complete Basic Details, Register Sensor, and Add Bat — or skip to finish later.
  6. Register your sensor by scanning or typing the serial number, then activate it by facing the Blast logo ground/sky repeatedly until Sensor Connected appears.
  7. Add your bat with Brand, Model, Nickname, Length, and Weight, then tap Add New Bat. A video shows how to attach the sensor to your bat.
