A. Triage the Roster: Find Each Hitter’s One Metric

C. Track Team Trends Over a Season
One swing lies. Ten swings tell the truth. Read trends, not single swings, and pull a 10–15 swing sample before you draw any conclusion about a hitter. Use player and team reports to watch each red metric climb over weeks. A hitter whose Early Connection tightens back toward the 80-105° range across a month is developing, even if last Saturday went 0-for-4. That is the message that keeps a young player believing in the work.
Share those reports with parents.
