How to Fix the Blast App Crashing on Android

Share:

If your Blast app crashes or closes on its own on Android, the most common fix is clearing the app’s stored data, which resolves issues caused by corrupt data. This does not require any special feature setting — just a data clear and re-login.

How to Fix App Crashing on Android

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Apps > Application Manager.
  3. Choose Blast App > Storage.
  4. Tap Clear Data.
  5. Launch the app and sign back in.

Important: clearing app data removes any videos stored in the app. Save your videos to your device, or upload them to Blast Connect (if you have a Premium Services subscription), before clearing data.

Still Crashing?

If the app continues to crash after clearing data and signing back in, contact Blast Motion customer support for further troubleshooting.

FAQ

Will clearing app data delete my swing metrics?
The steps focus on clearing corrupt app data; be sure to back up any unsaved videos beforehand, since clearing data removes videos stored only in the app.

Do I need to reinstall the app to fix crashing?
No — clearing the app’s data through Application Manager is the recommended first step, without a full reinstall.
