If your Blast sensor won’t charge, work through the charger LED, USB connection, and sensor placement before contacting support. The charger’s LED light tells you exactly what’s happening at each step.
Step 1: Check the USB Connection
Plug the charger into a USB port and look for the red LED to light up. If the light stays off, try a different USB port.
Step 2: Check Sensor Placement
If the charger LED is on but the sensor isn’t flashing, make sure the sensor’s logo is face-up and centered on the charger.
Step 3: Give It Time to Charge
Charge the sensor for 45–60 minutes. After charging, the sensor should flash when you move it — this confirms it has been previously activated and is holding a charge.
What the Charger LED Colors Mean
- Red LED — The charger is not active (sensor not on the charger, or already fully charged).
- Blue LED — The sensor is charging.
- Green LED — The sensor is completely charged.
Once fully charged, the sensor enters standby mode. It won’t resume charging until the battery drops below 93% and the sensor is removed from and placed back on the charger.
