Choosing a Sensor
Blast offers different sensor lines depending on your goals. A Personal Swing Trainer sensor is built for individual player, parent, or athlete accounts. If you want access to newer features like Air Swings, you’ll need a Gen 3 Swing Analyzer sensor rather than a Swing Trainer sensor.
Choosing a Subscription Tier
Once you have a sensor, the free Basic app tier gives you core swing metrics with no subscription required. If you want more, Blast Connect offers three premium packages:
- Player / Parent Package — advanced metrics, coaching feedback, video analysis and sharing, and cloud storage for an individual athlete.
- Coach / Team Package — roster management, video analysis and sharing, reporting and scheduling, and player recruiting tools for coaches managing a team.
- Academy Package — a custom portal bundling the Coach/Team benefits across every coach in an organization, plus academy-wide scheduling, training, analytics, and reporting.
